Timeline
2025 - Creation fo EDF power solutions Côte d'Ivoire, an entity bringing together EDF Renewables and EDF's International Division
2023 - Creation of greeno, solar solutions for agriculture
2021 - EDF Côtee d'Ivoire is established as the West African Sub-Regional Directorate with headquarters in Abidjan
2019 - Creation of Greeno EDF and Sun Culture, specializing in the distribution, installation, and maintenance of solar pumps for agricultural irrigation, livestock, and domestic use in Côte d'Ivoire
2019 - Creation of Biovéa Energie, the company that went on to develop, build, finance and operate a biomass power plant.
2018 - Creation of ARIC, a subsidiary of Conergies-Group (co-owned by the EDF Group), whose objective is to become one of the market leaders in climate engineering and refrigeration.
2016 - creation of the Ivorian subsidiary EDF-CI to consolidate the EDF Group's presence in Côte d'Ivoire.
2016 - ZOLA Electric (formerly Off Grid Electric), a leading American start-up in solar energy distribution in Africa, joins forces with EDF to create the jointly-owned company ZECI SAS, for the supply of off-grid solar energy.
