On March 7, 2025, to mark International Women's Rights Day, EDF was pleased to welcome female trainee teachers to its offices in Abidjan. Coming from technical fields (Electrotechnics, Building Electricity, Engineering, Equipment Electricity, Electronics, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Industrial and Refrigeration Engineering, Civil Engineering option Building) of the Institut Pédagogique National de l'Enseignement Technique et Professionnel (IPNETP), they shared a moment of discussion with EDF engineers.

Alongside Aïssa Peretto and Djénéba Konet, Business Developers, and Thérèse Adja, Environmental and Social Manager, the future teachers discussed the challenges and opportunities of the energy sector, as well as the importance of including women in this field.

It was a great opportunity for the trainee teachers to discover the innovative solutions developed by EDF and its subsidiaries, and to explore the prospects of a fast-changing sector.

Through this activity, EDF is reaffirming its commitment to encouraging gender diversity in the energy professions, and to working towards a more inclusive sector.
