On the 7th and 8th of November, at the Parc des Expositions in Abidjan, EDF took part in the Cybersecurity Days organised by ARTCI, the Ivory Coast's telecom/ICT regulator. The aim of these days is to promote digital inclusion and raise awareness of good cybersecurity practices.
Cybersecurity was the focus of the first edition of the Cybersecurity Days. For two days, the subsidiaries Greeno, Tevia and Aric presented their products closely linked to the digital world.
On 8 November, Mahamane SOW, Managing Director of EDF Ivory Coast, took part in a panel discussion on "Securing digital identities for equal access to public and social services". The panel discussed the importance of securing digital information, accessibility of services and privacy regulations.
This was an opportunity to demonstrate the ethics and care with which EDF and its subsidiaries handle their users' personal data.
