With the rollout of the new EDF Power Solutions brand, the West and Central Africa hub, comprising Côte d'Ivoire and Cameroon, celebrated its “power party,” an event that brought everyone together around the company's values. On June 11th and 12th in Assinie, the team took part in team-building activities to forge bonds and cultivate cohesion in a relaxed atmosphere.

Ivory Coast and Cameroon are now part of the same hub, that of West and Central Africa. This merger aims to pool efforts in order to effectively achieve the new brand's objectives. "This is a new era of growth and strong ambitions. For us, this essentially translates into a rapprochement between two countries that share commonalities and complementary experiences and expertise. We are delighted to be sharing this convivial moment, which allows us to forge links between the teams so that we can meet the challenges associated with our shared ambitions. This is a strong entry into EDF Power Solutions" said Mahamane Sow, Vice President for West and Central Africa. The teams are ready and enthusiastic to pool their energies to carry out virtuous projects in the field of energy transition. In the same vein, Olivier Fesquet, Managing Director of EDF Power Solutions Cameroon, said, “We are already collaborating on projects in photovoltaics, hydraulics, biomass, and off-grid energy. This is a path to mutual success because we have a lot to learn from each other. The goal is to work together toward a common objective.

Emphasizing the values of synergy, the teams participated in quizzes, treasure hunts, sports, and painting workshops.

Born from the merger between EDF Renewables and the International Division, EDF Power Solutions shares the same purpose: to build a carbon-neutral energy future that reconciles preservation of the planet, well-being, and development through electricity and innovative solutions and services.
